Décidée à devenir artiste-peintre dès son plus jeune âge, Corinne JACQ, bien que Normande, obtint son diplôme aux Beaux-Arts de Reims, et depuis cet évènement majeur, elle n'a eu de cesse d'œuvrer dans l'univers artistique comme illustratrice, conseillère, formatrice, décoratrice, enseignante, tout en collaborant avec le couturier Jean-Charles de Castelbajac et en peignant aussi sur tissus, soie, porcelaine et à la fresque.

Resolved to become a painter at a very early age, Corinne Jacq grew up in Normandy but obtained her diploma at the Fine Arts School of Reims, and since that major turning point, she has constantly worked in the world of art as an illustrator, advisor, trainer, decorator and teacher. All the while, she has collaborated with fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac as well as painting on fabric, silk, porcelain and creating frescoes, which goes to show just what an experienced artist she is.
Having now returned to her native Normandy, she has brought her original style and remarkable technique with her, putting them in the service of a surrealism that has an astonishingly decisive charm. She masters the genre’s effects with the help of incredibly daring supports, which she peoples with captivating designs. Boldy inspired, Corinne Jacq’s works always exert a powerful attraction, whether they are born of her bare hands or the product of several, superbly combined techniques, forming a realism that is classy and very contemporary in feel.
